I bought this book thinking I wanted an easy read, and it looked interesting. Well, it was interesting, and much to my enjoyment, the plot was much more complicated than I thought it would be. You soon develop a liking for the characters, and you find yourself eager to get back to your book, to see what is happening. It does hold your attention. Reading this book was a very inexpensive way for good entertainment.
I enjoyed this story. It did seem to drag a bit, but it was exciting enough to keep my interest. I loved the hero, but the heroine was a bit hard headed for me. I really enjoy reading about all the issues healers had during this time period. It's really frightening what they went through for simply helping their fellow man. If you like Highlander stories, you will enjoy this book.
I am a huge Scottish romance sop and they have to be pretty good for me to leave a review. This book I had little expectations in, but it surprised me and actually kept me up all night. I loved it so much I immediately got the next one and can't wait to read it.
This is the first book I have read by Connie Scharon, and I truly enjoyed it. I am always leary of reading a book written by someone new to me, but I enjoyed this book and story. I recommend this book and I plan to read more books written by this author.
I enjoyed reading about a captured bride and a love story and treachery and witchcraft. It is very detailed and well written.
This is a lovely story. It is well written and packed with romance and action. The author has not padded the book with idle words that bore a reader to tears. Well done.
This book was packed with adventure, intrigue and, of course, passion. The villain was difficult to pick out, and only at the end do you find out who it is. This was a fun read.
I love a good Highland read and this one did not disapoint. Like a good fairy tale with a great ending.
