You will love this exciting storyline. The characters are awesome.Amy is a forensic scientist working for the LAPD. Over the years she has become a cynic. She does not believe in all the happy ever after crap. Amy is a tough and strong willed woman. As of late the LAPD have been investigating a series of gruesome murders. Each one of the victims were mauld. When investigating a crime scene Any meets two sexy men. One is watching the investigation and the other attacked a woman in front of her. The second guy disappears in front of her after biting the woman's neck. Only all evidence is gone , the woman dies not remember a thing. This causes Amy to be out in leave. After that Amy becomes a target!.You will so love this exciting,suspenseful,intense, and steamy hot Vampire Romance. This is a must read book!.
I really loved this story line. Amy is a crime scene tech with problems dating. While on a crime scene that is tied to a serial killer she witness something that changes her life. She meets Vincent, a vampire, he is feeding on a woman. She meets Damon, a dark brooding human. When she tries to tell the other officers what she witnessed, she is placed on leave. The author developed these characters well. She feels a pull toward both men, who will she choose? She learns secrets about herself and things about werewolves, vampires, witches and hunters. I volunteered to read and review this awesome arc. Please reade it, I am ready for book 2 so I can follow these three characters.
The books that I have read here are ok but would have been better if better writing or even better proofreading had been done. It took away from the storyline to have to figure out what was meant to be said instead of what was written. Dissappointed.
I loved this book! I downloaded a free copy, but NOT a member of review team. As soon as I was done reading it I knew I had to review it.It can be read as a standalone but I can't wait to continue the series. Full of action, romance and hunks! It's Bones meets Twilight. (But for adults only)I also can't say enough about her writing! She is a true paranormal romance author!Bravo! Ordering next book now.
What a great start to an amazing new series!Amy, a dateless forensic technician for the LAPD ends up with two men vying for her attention, Damon (a demon hunter) and Vincent (a vampire). Talk about a pair to draw too!The story is fast paced and well written. It is filled with complexities and the characters are strong and well developed. Absolutely a good read.The book also contains some great bonus stories making this a definite win for the reader!
I discovered this author recently, and I'm already snatching up her books as soon as they're published! This one is the first in a series of three, and I'm hooked on the heroine AND the vampire - though I'm not sure if he's safe to be around yet. Sexy, oh, yes, indeed! But safe...? But she's tough and smart and ready to take him on. I won't spoil it for you, but I promise you that you won't regret meeting these unlikely lovers!Jgtimm
The Vampire's Desire was a good story, but it was riddles with unnecessary thoughts of the min character and a lot of editing errors. First person made the main character too talkative when I just wanted to know what happened next. Each bonus book after the first got better at telling the story but with less errors.
